On September 30, Orange Shirt Day promotes awareness about the Indian residential school system still impacting Native American communities in the United States and Canada. Known as National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, the day honors the children forced into Indian boarding schools. In addition, the day also remembers those who never returned home. #OrangeShirtDay

Company Owner
Eagle's Dream is an authentic Female Native American owned company. I am part of the Chippewa Indian Tribe of Sault Saint Marie, Michigan. My passion has always been working with our native youth. I have ran after school programs, led the tribal youth council, led day camp programs, coordinated youth powwows, and served as the Youth Education and Activities Coordinator for my tribe.
I deeply enjoy sewing, creating and designing items that reflect my tribal heritage. I specialize in making ribbon skirts, dream catchers, sewing applique, and custom embroidery. Thank you for supporting my small business!
